Hurricane Barry Inundates Gulf Coast
Hurricane Barry brought heavy rainfall, flooding and storm surge throughout the central Gulf Coast and lower Mississippi Valley over the weekend. After making landfall in Louisiana, Barry weakened into a tropical storm and has since weakened into a depression. Flash flooding is likely as the storm center moves inland over Arkansas, sending rains over northern Mississippi, Tennessee Missouri and Illinois. Barry is slowly moving to the north-northeast. Please monitor this storm if you live its path.
