Jon Andio, Owner

Jon entered the electrical trade 22 years ago, helping out in a neighbor’s electrical contractor business. Working summers until graduating Palm Beach Gardens High School in 1987, he then began a full-time career in that neighbor’s business. In 1989, Jon entered union training classes, receiving his Journeyman’s License in 1990 and becoming a Master Electrician in 1999. That year, with nearly 15 years’ experience behind him, Jon opened ANDIO ELECTRIC, INC., which has grown and thrived, both in the residential and commercial markets. Beyond swimming pools, remodels and new construction, Andio Electric, Inc., has worked on The Palm Beach Gardens Marriott Hotel remodel (including the hook-up of a 2,000,000 watt generator during Hurricane Frances), the swimming pool and waterfall installation at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, St. Mary’s Hospital Kaplan Cancer Center remodel and the new construction of Game Stops and Hollywood Video stores.

In 2003, Jon was hired to install generators and transfer switches at 27 Mobil gas stations throughout Palm Beach and Broward Counties. From that job, Jon, along with partner Dale Sibery, opened 1 Stop Generator Shop, providing customers with design, installation and maintenance of generator systems, ranging from portables to permanent stand-by systems from 7,000kW to the above-mentioned 2,000,000kW systems.

Jon has completed extensive education at the Guardian/Generac and Carrier training centers. Through his many years in the electrical trade industry and hours of continuing education (both mandatory and voluntary), Jon has become expert in all aspects of proper generator installation and maintenance.
